Solar Africa returns to East Africa at Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania

7th Solar Africa 2020, East Africa's largest Solar Energy Products and Equipment fair is back, in Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania to open a whole new world of opportunities in the solar products industry. It is known worldwide that Africa is the world’s biggest untapped market waiting to be unveiled and exporters around the globe are eyeing opportunities in the region.

Solar Africa is the most prominent Solar Energy Products and Equipment Trade Exhibition and one of the largest trade fairs in East Africa, showcasing the widest range of the latest technology in Solar Technology & Manufacturing, Rural Power Generation, Solar Panels, Storage / Batteries, Emergency Lighting and more. Find distributors, partners, suppliers, buyers and government partnerships with business prospects worth billions during the three-day event. The Solar Africa 2020 is bigger, presenting exhibitors from over 20 countries. This is owing to the sustained high growth in the economy of the region and its re-export potential to the neighbouring landlocked countries.

East Africa in 2020 and beyond:

East Africa, the fastest growing region, is projected to achieve growth of 6.1 percent in 2020 and a population of over 460 million. Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia are all key members of this region. While Kenya has a stable and strong economy, Ethiopia and Tanzania have the fastest growth rate averaging more than 8% which is boosted by large scale infrastructural investments along with recent changes in trade policies and market access. With the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA) also in force, companies are looking at another opportunity at increasing exports to Africa.
