In 2018, China installed 21 GW of onshore wind capacity (representing 46% of the global market) and 1.6 GW of offshore wind capacity (representing 40% of the global market), cementing China’s position in 1st place in the global wind power market for onshore and offshore activities.
Since its debut in 2008, China Wind Power has hosted 10 editions and is now recognised as China's leading energy show with the 2018 edition attracting nearly 65,000 visitors. This year, CWP is co-organised by four leading organisations: GWEC, CWEA, CREIA and CCID and will be held from 21-24 October 2019 in Beijing, China. To celebrate its 11th edition, a new landmark event - Beijing Renewable Energy Investment Summit - will be introduced and the dedicated China Wind Power Offshore Exhibition will take place at the new venue - China International Exhibition Center.
