New Delhi: India's steel, cement and aluminium sectors together present a 20 GW  solar open access market opportunity despite significant reliance on captive coal power,  according to a new report by Ember. The transition to renewable energy across these  sectors could reduce emissions by up to 29 million tonnes of CO₂ annually.
