In seven years from now it is estimated that 50% of the public buses of the world will be electric, with China dominating in this segment. In addition to state decisions, large automakers areheading in the same direction, with Porsche implementing a 6 billion-euro investment plan for electric mobility by 2022. Although the initial cost of electric vehicles is higher than that of a conventional, damping comes through their lower cost of running and maintenance.
