Από το 2000, διπλασιάστηκε η εγκατεστημένη ισχύς θερμικών σταθμών άνθρακα του πλανήτη αγγίζοντας τα 2,000 gigawatts (GW) μετά την εκρηκτική ανάπτυξη σε Κίνα και Ινδία.

Ο χάρτης επιτρέπει να ερευνήσετε τις χώρες μια-μια, να δείτε π.χ. κάθε ένα σταθμό στον πλανήτη ή Κίνα η οποία έχει στο έδαφος της τη μισή εγκατεστημένη ισχύ 935,5 GW!!!
