After the EU elections, Europe has a political mandate to dramatically accelerate the growth of renewables in the fight against climate change.
The RE-Source Platform has just issued a letter to the European Commission, supported by over 50 organisations, calling for more ambition from the EU Member States in their National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs).
What does this mean? Put simply, it means there has never been more support from citizens, politicians and companies to accelerate the development of renewables in Europe.
