Dr. Avgerinopoulou at the 2nd Leirion MUN on climate crisis and energy autonomy

The institutional transition towards energy autonomy along with the climatic dimension was the topic at hand of the interactive session to which Dr. Dionysia – Theodora Avgerinopoulou, Chair of the Environment Committee of the Hellenic Parliament and Executive Director of the European Institute of Law, Science and Technology, was invited as a Guest Expert, during the 2nd International Model United Nations Conference Leirion.

The engaging and highly interactive session was attended by several students from 15 countries around the world that posed as diplomats and expressed their views on energy autonomy and the road to a sustainable energy future. Dr. Avgerinopoulou emphasized on the importance of climate education and congratulated the organizers.
