Experience Requirements:A minimum of 3 years successful fundraising experience • Outstanding communication skills and proven strength in relationship management

• Experience in communicating with global partners • Knowledge of best practice in fundraising and of current trends in philanthropy

• Experience of proactively researching and engaging current and prospective funders

• Ability to write compelling and persuasive fundraising proposals

• Experience of working to, and meeting, fundraising targets

• Ideally knowledge of financial/ bond markets

• Strong IT skills (CRM databases (ideally SalesForce), Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Educated to degree level or equivalent, or the ability to demonstrate competence through experience

• Passion for sustainability and climate initiatives

• Ability to work on own initiative as well as a key member of a team

• Flexible and proactive approach and attitude

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver outcomes to tight deadlines • Enthusiasm and drive to make things happen
