Samsung breaks ground on massive coal-based blue ammonia plant in the US

Wabash Valley Resources' project is backed by both the US and South Korean governments

Samsung's engineering subsidiary has announced that it has broken ground on the Wabash Low-Carbon Ammonia Plant in Indiana, which would convert coal into 500,000 tonnes of NH3 while capturing 1.67 million tonnes of CO2 emissions from the process each year.
