Experience Requirements:We are seeking qualified independent consultants as part of our Roster of Experts (RoE) for the technical review and assessment of projects submitted to SustainCERT for GS4GG certification. The experts will be allocated technical project reviews on a part-time and as-needed basis. Experts based out of Latin America and Africa are encouraged to apply. Requirements will include performing detailed technical review of Energy & Waste Management and Land Use & Forestry projects under the CER and VER streams submitted to SustainCERT. The reviews will include, but not be limited to, preliminary review, design reviews (including internal validation), performance reviews (including internal verification), design change reviews and review of the renewal of crediting periods.

Special Requirements:Bachelors or Masters degree in an environmental subject, ideally concerning climate change studies. A degree in international development or sustainable development will also be considered. Priority will be given to any professional qualifications or training related to GHG certification and audit work. Minimum 6-7 years professional experience post education in a carbon offset project development, audit or certification capacity. Experience with the Gold Standard Requirements is highly desirable.
