Position:Climate Change Policy Expert

Duty Station:Home-based

Experience Requirements:Demonstrated expertise in climate change policy, policy analysis and development of policy indicators for monitoring and evaluation. o   Proven knowledge of global and EU frameworks and agreements relevant for climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction, including the Paris Agreement, the Sendai Framework, Agenda 2030, EU policy etc. o   Knowledge and expertise on Nature-based Solutions highly desirable. o   Excellent analytical skills and proven record of preparing similar policy analysis reports. o   Experience in the Western Balkan region and understanding of the regional and national climate change policy landscape is an advantage. o   Demonstrated experience of working in collaboration with government agencies, international and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). o   More than 5 years of experience providing policy advice on climate change issues. o   Proficiency in English.
