Position:Senior Advisor, Climate Change

Duty Station: London, England; Dakar, Senegal; or Nairobi, Kenya (but flexible within suitable time zones for the right candidate)

Term:Full-time, Maximum Term Appointment

Experience Requirements:

Significant direct experience of designing climate change programs for an international organisation, preferably in a managerial role

• A proven track record of successful implementation of climate change adaptation programs in development contexts in Africa

• Knowledge and understanding of the Green Climate Funds policies, structures, and systems

• Tertiary qualification/s in Climate Change, International Development, or related discipline

• Highly developed communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to present information clearly and effectively to a wide range of audiences

• Fluency in English is required, French and local language(s) skills would be an asset
