Πριν και Μετά : συγκλονιστικές φωτογραφίες με τα σημάδια της κλιματικής αλλαγής μέσα σε 100 χρόνια.

Ένας Σουδός φωτογράφος, ο Christian Åslund, σύγκρινε φωτογραφίες που είχαν τραβηχτεί στις αρχές του 20ου αιώνα με αντίστοιχες από τις ίδιες θέσεις που τράβηξε ο ίδιος αυτόν τον αιώνα.

Στην περίπτωση αυτή μια φωτογραφία είναι εκατομμύρια λέξεις

Ή τα πολλά λόγια είναι φτώχια.

 

Δεν μπορώ όμως να αρνηθώ στον πειρασμό και να πω ότι τα σημάδια της κλιματικής αλλαγής ήταν πάντοτε μπροστά στα μάτια μας.

Και ότι ακόμη κι όταν δεν τα βλέπαμε ή κάναμε ότι δεν τα βλέπαμε, η επιστήμη φώναζε για να τα δούμε

 

Δυστυχώς δεν την ακούσαμε μέχρι που τα σημάδια της κλιματικής αλλαγής έγιναν η τραγική καθημερινότητα μας

Έστω ας ξυπνήσουμε τώρα

Έρχονται κι άλλοι μετά από εμάς και πρέπει να βρούνε ένα πλανήτη στον οποίο να μπορούν να ζήσουν….

 

Δεν θα μας το συγχωρήσουν ποτέ ότι ξέραμε και δεν κάναμε τίποτε
